What PVQ Measures

The PVQ measures the fundamental building blocks of personality and combines this with a measurement of values and motives. This combination provides a comprehensive insight into how people typically think, feel and interact in ways that may be productive or counter-productive.

Alongside the personality assessment, the PVQ provides and assessment of values and motives, broken down by interpersonal values such as a ‘need for altruism’, professional values such as a ‘need for achievement’ and personal values such as ‘traditional values’.

Advantages

Having been completed by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, the PVQ is supported by an extensive evidence base attesting to its reliability, validity and culture fairness. It provides an in-depth assessment of a person’s strengths and development needs and is a powerful tool enabling you to select the right person for key positions in your organisation.

PVQ Reports

The GeneSys System generates profile charts and in-depth expert narrative reports for decision-making and feedback. These describe an individual’s typical interpersonal behaviour, thinking style, motives and values. Available reports include preferred Team Roles, Leadership, Selling Styles, and Career Themes. Reports focusing on competencies and emotional intelligence are also available. Customised reports can be developed to focus on factors critical to your organisation.
